True. I kept my retic in a 30 gallon till he was 5 inches. Was it stupid? Yeah! Did I know what I was doing? No! Did this forum help? A LOT AND A BIG THANK YOU TO THOSE THAT WERE GENTLE WITH me. I plan to pass that on.

Its currently a 4x2x2 in feet. Its a decent floor space for 7 inch retic rays. Sure water volume could be better, but I test often and one 50% change per week with an extra change somewhere in there per month keeps me at 20-30 ppm nitrate. I have a fluval 406 and another fluval 405 each is rated for 100 gallon tanks. The plan for the next tank, which will come next year when we move, is a 96x48x25
500 gallon. Which Looks like with all the accessories is going to run me like $3-5k unless I somehow before then find a used deal.

My 7 rays eat 6 lbs of shrimp and week and 2lbs of smelt it's about $200 to feed 7 rays
