ugliest non-hybrid cichlid

I can't spell the cichlids name, but I have alway wondered what would pocess people to want to spend decent money on this hideous fish.

As close as I can get Bifasciata.

I don't care for black belts or any of the earth eaters either.

By the way, those people that think dovii are ugly: what the heck is beautiful then?

I have to agree with who ever said gold JD. Im i big fan of JD's but the gold ones are possibly the ugliest thing i have ever seen!

I don't think I find any fish "ugly". I love how unbelievably diverse all cichlids are from tanganyika to the americas. I don't think there's a fish I wouldn't keep!

If I could pick an "ugly" fish it would be salvini. Im not saying I would never keep them, they just don't appeal to me as much as other cichlids might.
