wow some of my favorite fish have turned up on this thread! but i guess thats cause i base my opinion of eppearance mainly on personality!
i think uaras are fugly as all hel, and a female festae is definitely the best lookin.

I don't like big adult Red Devils, I think they are ugly and plain looking.
Uaru's are ugly, I have one and love it, but his face is ugly and coloration leaves something to be desired.

I didn't expect all the hate for pike chiclids, always thought they were cute.

How have flowerhorns not been mentioned yet? That giant bulging forhead of theirs makes them look like they should be on a bus with fewer than normal seats.
i think Red Devils,Cuban Cichlid, Red Terror ,dovil and I'm not a fan of large Nuchal humps either...
