ugliest non-hybrid cichlid

How have flowerhorns not been mentioned yet? That giant bulging forhead of theirs makes them look like they should be on a bus with fewer than normal seats.

because the are hybrids, and this thread is for non-hybrid fish
i gues port acaras are at the bottom of my list, at least the ones I've seen

I base my judgement mostly on shape not real big on color so here's my list

Oscars are like the really cool girl in class that is kinda ugly. You are mildly attracted but its just too ugly.

Back on topic: EBJD by far. They just look like nature's rejects. Colors don't match and they are frail.

Really?? Look at my avatar.... I had a specimen for about a year that was gorgeous. Not dull at all. The only downturn, is they are aggressive. Do a search here on MFK, and you will see some "pics from the fishroom 12/11/2010." Gorgeous fish.
