, mine is about 16", but the growth is fairly slow right now. Although some people think it is maruliodes (was bought as unidentified in jan last year - I hope so, then its only got a few inches left to grow Some more snakehead photos;
Haven't got a photo of the auranti yet - only got him a couple of weeks ago at pier and still trying to get him eating.

Sort of. For the most common varieties. But there are tons of regional variations of both which is where the confusion comes in! Mine doesn't appear to be one of the more common ones either, i've only managed to find one picture with the same markings and it was unlabeled

well mate it may be your lucky day, iam planning emigrating at the end of the year, you could alway's have first dib's on the obscura if you can wait that long, i know iam moving but alway's wanting to buy fish, sad eh,hehe
