i have moved my smaller ones into the oscar tank now thats matured ,, arowana dont seem bothered at all ,,
its a tame one , the lfs hand fed it , showed me too ,, they tapp the water surface and he appeared,,
this lfs i went to IS a mfk'ers paradise,, i am gonna do a write up of my awsome experience i had today ,, its not too far from satansgoldfish and i think he will be there next chance he gets ,,
i feel a meet coming on,
i went to a job in stowmarket and got talking to a guy that keeps tangs,, he said if you like big fish go to this place,, so when i finished the job , off i go ,,
it looks like a little garden centre from outside,, but you walk in the doorway to a pond and tank accesory deptartment ,, follow the hanging sign that says fish, and you walk through a corridoor of windows that show every reptile you could think of in a realistic large habitat , like a zoo would display,, at the end of corridor you enter the fish room , huge cube tanks with huge gourami in , huge sturgeon, large this large that,, great display ,, the floorspace is very spacious , one side marine the other tropical a low level centre area with all the plant life you could want , i asked the guy about a purruno well there were 2 perruno at about 40 pounds if i remember , and also a 2 foot lung fish in the next tank,, when he saw i was serious about big fish i got invited to a back area , THIS IS THE BIT THAT GOT ME GRINNING FROM EAR TO EAR,,,,,he lifted a few floorboards to reveal a swimming pool full of huge black pacu, rtc, tsn, hybrids etc etc etc ,, most if not all bigger than 2 foot ,, took me by surprise but it was awsome to see big black shadows beneath your feet and wonder what the hell just swam past ,,,
I WILL DEFINITLY BE GOING BACK ,, WHO'S IN??????????
they have a cafe too
postcode is NR16
and the pacu are £50 each if interested
