I doubt there is any SW fish bigger than a 50 foot monster that can take down ships.
derail, and I doubt it could catch a marling with that slow speed. as far as I know, marlin and sailfish are faster, and larger than a tuna. However, as this is the ULTIMATE sw fish, a goliath grouper will be very hard to take down.i think both of these could take down a tusk, and maybe a kraken with that speed.I doubt there is any SW fish bigger than a 50 foot monster that can take down ships.
Goliath grouper vs marlin or sailfish/ well the grouper could never catch either. Sailfish is the fastest fish in the ocean next is the Marlin. That being said a marlin would never try to eat a 1000lb fish....

the grouper could always surprise attack tho, and I don't see those two him. there was a report of a three footer taking down a six foot white tip reef shark.. and wat if the marling is on a fishing rod and worn out, time to strike eh?
