im sure a grouper could eat it, if it was in the right place at the right time
 
Lol I don't think he could catch it ever. But how would a grouper fit an 1800 pound 16 foot fish into its mouth that's swimming 110km an hour. I'm sure if anyone would be in trouble it would be the grouper swimming Into open water. Marlin dont sit on the bottom of the ocean there always moving

Even if a grouper went after a full sized Marlin it would have no way of killing it. At least a marlin has the ability to kill a grouper

if a three foot grouper can kill a six foot shark, then when larger it could take on Marlin. Marlin aint constantly at thoes speeds tho

A six foot reef shark although long is not that heavy. That's very different from a grouper taking on an 1800 pound marlin
