then why isnt the age 18 considered an adult drinking age>?????
i wonder...maybe because they dont reason as good as us adults huh...
yea prolly

Or maybe because they've done studies and found out that drinking before a certain age can harm your brain permanently. And if you think the laws here are harsh and hard to avoid breaking, laws in other countries can be 10x worse. I can almost guarantee the penalties here will seem like nothing after you've heard some laws in other countries. We've got it good in America, be glad with what you have.

The Sportman's Rights Act goes on to outline provisions for the illegal activity associated with interfering in the process of hunting or fishing. Developed in 1997, the Act prohibits wildlife activists from barring or preventing anyone from legally hunting or catching wild mammals, fish, birds or reptiles. The Act goes on to say no one is permitted to harass or disturb wildlife for the purpose of protecting the wildlife from being hunted or caught. For individuals who violate the Texas Sportsman's Rights Act, a charge with a Class B misdeamor may be cited.

wish new york was that way

That's a poor example. You're using a state law to support your notion of licensing fees being unconstitutional. The act that you're referring to does not challenge the notion of hunting and fishing licensing. It challenges animal rights activists from prohibiting the right to hunt and fish in Texas. In order to hunt and fish in Texas, you have to be legally authorized to hunt and fish by having a license. There is no legislation in the USA that allows for free hunting and fishing, without a license. If you and your brother go to Texas and hunt or fish without a license, you both will be fined.

and with 1oo and somethin dollars worth of my $h!t so try to understand how livid i am....
he is yung and should b able to particapate in activities like fishin with out being charged...
older ppl should be charged and thats it...

18 is old enough...

i had to earn my money since i turned 16 to buy my fishing license.. no job, no allowance.. did i do it.. yes i did.. @ 18 he is an adult and should be more responsible..

if your soo pissed off about the gear imo its your right to make him pay you back your 120-150 whichever it is... that you spent on the gear.

after all.. hes an adult..

One thing I would really like to know is was it a COP who caught you guys fishing or was it a fish and game warden? If you go to court there is a good chance you can get your stuff back fish and game laws rarely get maxium punishment. Minnesota has a similar hunter/fishing harrassment law and as pointed out it doesnt apply to this case not even remotley. Also im only 20 years old I HATE it when im still referred to as a kid I was expected to take responsibility for my own actions long before 18. Trust me I HATE the goverment infringing in on my life as much as anyone the first guy to run on the slogan "I will do nothting but plow the roads but I guarentee taxes will go down" has my vote. That being said you are over reacting to this you broke a law (a law thats been in effect for probaly over 100 years) now pay the fine you still have the option to go to court were its almost guarenteed you will get your stuff back.

yea its pretty ***,
shouldagave him a warning or something instead of being a f#k and taking all the stuff..
i had all my trout muskie bass an my f#k!n carp/cat rig in there........
i want my ***** back....
ill get it bak ill find a loop hole or somthin
