Toss some fresh asparagus in some olive oil and sea salt and grill it over a low flame until it's halfway limp yet still has some crunch. I used to hate asparagus until recently when I learned how to cook it properly, now it's one of my favorite side dishes.

make me some............yummy

gosh so many of you are really into unhealthy habits.. if you cannot change to a healthy lifestyle for yourself........ do it for your fish............ they need you

Well, I don't smoke, ANYTHING, dip, drink sparingly and never been drunk and I'm 32, I eat tons of veggies and fruits all mainly organic, no red meat, I eat processed meat here and there when the deer, squirrel, etc. have been ate, I suppose second hand smoke, don't eat dairy, don't eat fish as I believe most fish you buy are not healthy no matter what the government says with mercury levels, etc. I buy chicken from a local farm that was raised healthy, I rarely eat breads or anything with gluten even thou I'm not intolerant, etc. I take 225 billion CFU ProBiotics each day, the gym 5 days a week, drinks a lot of water, stay away from sugar 99% of the time because every now and then I have to have a Reese Cup :)

I get my blood tested once a year and all my levels are where they should be for a 254lb man. Only salt I add to my meals and that's on dry chicken usually and which is Himalayan salt. It's dry because I'm nervous around chicken, I'd rather eat it dry than juicy and risk of bacteria, etc. I do 20 mins of HIIT each morning to get my body going, feels great and I run about 3 days a week.

I also don't play video games and no soda.

I want to live to as healthy as I possibly can because I want to be around for a long, long time. I def don't want to go through my life spending it in the Doctors office, taking medications that can have worse side effects than what it's treating, etc. I love to be outside and explore the wilderness, can't explore if I'm unhealthy, no fit, etc.

That's all great and commendable Master B but I think you've posted in the wrong thread.

Very good stuff here, I got on healthy habits relativity early (I am 23) and I love looking for new stuff to incorporate into the diet. Just started using hemp protein (haven't used whey for years due to stomach) and I love it. Only problem I find with diet is that the stuff I like to buy is all so expensive and with my current job I have a hard time staying on budget.

I cannot pass up a good beer though, Surly Furious  . I have no problem going out with the buddies over the weekends. A few beers can sometimes lead to some junk food like chips and whatnot, but I try to keep that to weekends.

I have been doing a lot of kettle bell work for the past 3 months and tweaked my back, I am currently on my 3rd week off doing anything really active...seriously is the most frustrating thing ever.

1. Eat fast food way toooooo much.

2. Sit around all day and do nothing but watch TV and play ps3( maybe go fishing). Then come midnight rush and do hw/projects before class in morning hahaha.

3. Unless I have class before 12 on weekdays I sleep untill noon easily!!!
