Totally nothing wrong with hybrids Andrew, for if you've seen my other comments on other threads, I just hope to get lucky like heatherbeast and others, haha! Actually though, I have found good affordable sources of non-hybrid, more desirable pbass. Such as the orinos I just got, I will be getting a bunch of baby Azul very soon! I'm so excited!

I'm pretty sure they're coming from the states somewhere. I heard my orinos were pond-bred and raised. I don't know if they are of any particular collection point, maybe the breeders don't want to say? That's okay with me though. As long as they are healthy and good looking, that's good enough for me.

Here's some new pics of my Unknowns. They're in my 75 waiting for my azuls and some kelberi I got on order. I think they're about 3 to 3.5 inches now.

I just got some about the same size and they won't eat I don't understand what I'm doing wrong haha tips?

won't eat anything at all? Maybe their still acclimating to their new environment. Did you try frozen bloodworm yet? What about brine shrimp or daphnia? What's your temp at? Baby pbass this size need very warm water, at least 88 degrees, I have mine at 90. Don't cook you fish though!

Here's a good close up I was finally able to get. The two are just about 4 inches now. It seems their tail is clamped, I'm hoping it will spread out later. uploadfromtaptalk1395072525692.jpguploadfromtaptalk1395072461731.jpg

From what I've been reading online about the tail problem, it seems it wont fix itself later. Kind of disappointed about that because other than the tail, these guys were starting to look good and are very healthy otherwise. Well, I will grow these guys out a little longer and see what happens.

Tail will be fine. The orino I had at those size had a ton of spangling and we're darker, unless I am misinterpreting the size.
