Interesting piece; it captures the essence of what many MFK keepers like in a tank. Big fish...jammed into tight quarters...forced to synchronize their motions because only one at a time can turn around...the look of horror and pathos on their faces is frightfully accurate. Well done!
I was going to completely fill it with just fish, but I was afraid I might get flamed for promoting JDM style tanks! So I thought I'd stock it in an appropriate manner. See, even in my artwork my maturity as a fishkeeper just shines through, lol.

My artwork has had to take a backseat for a while. The past couple of months have been busy, and these past few days, in preparation for the builders coming round, have been manic.

But i'll start again once the home scene settles down a bit.
Once more, I appreciate the talent put into it, but I will say: I have a couple problems with this piece. Mostly just accuracy issues. It's just not realistic. For starters, I can actually see the fish instead of just fog. Not to mention, I don't see even but one ammonia burn.

The more you draw something the better you get at it. From your first to now youve gotten better with shading. Good job keep it up. I look at my old drawings compared to my recent and it's night and day

Yes, please do! I quite enjoy your work. Be it life like or abstract. 🥰🥰
I did actually start a piece soon after I posted my last picture, months ago now, I'd forgot all about this one. It's easy to lose interest because they're so bloody hard and time consuming. I've no plans to finish this one but I'll post it anyway.

Maybe I'll do a plant next, lol.IMG_20221113_185157_HDR.jpg

Even a half finished on you’ve started is amazing! Your attention to detail is astounding 😍

I was just about to feed this to my giant gourami. I thought it would make an interesting piece so before I fed him I took a couple of pictures using the macro lens on my phone.

The pictures below show how it developed. A bit of still life...
