Lol,well I'm glad you got all of that off your chest and since you thought LS was boring I don't suggest you watch Sniper anytime soon.

And then wait for it....wait for it...just as the enemy find the "lone survivor" and closes in on him...the US military flies in guns blazing to save him. Bet you didn't see that coming?

...speaking of junk I also saw The Interview...what crap and who did Seth Rogan blow in order for him to even have a place in Hollywood?....it's like he thinks hollering and yelling is being humorous.
 
I have not seen lone survivor. I find the story intriguing because it's a true story. the real life guy worked with the director and actors

so i'm just not sure how accurate the movie is to the guy's story

war stories are tricky for me. i'm only into it if it's a good movie. I've never seen saving private ryan. I did enjoy platoon but after watching it again last year I feel it has been an overrated film.

I love inglorious basterds though. seen like the first half hour of Fury and never came around to finishing it because I don't feel compelled to do so
 
No I didn't and I actually never heard of it before the movie came out.I doubt if any movie adaptation is better than the book but since I didn't read the story first I'm in no rush to read it now,plus I already have a ton of books that I haven't gotten around to yet..If I spot the book in some bargain bin at some point I'll grab it.
 
my wife reminded me that Fifty Shades of Gray is coming out really soon

one of my brother's wife is going with two of her friends but one of them is bailing on them so my wife may go with them.

hopefully she goes with them so I won't have to sit thru that
 
Don't waste your time sumo or you'll be ranting. It's like they had a 3 minute story and stretched it into 2 hours without developing any characters. Literally NO character development and you know which one will survive jack and jilling

Yeah...my lady brought up 50 shades too. I yawned

Krich I was gonna ask if the book gave me a reason to actually care about the men. since the movie told me nothing about them. Was I suppose to care just because they're US military? Just because it's a true story? Give me SOME reason to care when they each die
