Hehe, this is fun, soon the rays will be attacking the pvc pipe because they know food comes out it.

In my tank of vulchers, all the fish learned that food came out of the pvc pipe and I had to do away with the process because the fish would dive for the food and it freaked out the rays a bit.

They also assumed that any cylindrical object had food in it. This made tank cleaning fun. The entire time I would gravel vac I'd have fish attacking the vacuum and rays following me around like crazy.

Ha Ha, Never used this actually as I only keep rays by themselves. I guess it would
be similar to target feeding/training.:)

haha yea thats funny. i mean i have plenty of trout worms to feed both, i was just wondering if the worms r bad for the aro. I do know that i should be posting this in the aro section. But to be honest i dont like posting in there becuz it seems like there a few people in there that turn every beginner question into "u shouldn't be owning them" and blah blah blah. Sorry for those of u who go to both forums but its true. Figured id ask the question in here becuz i know sum of u guys do have aros and plus the ray section isnt soo judgmental as the aro section. Im not trying to get the aro on a worm diet just wondering if it is bad if he eats 1 or 2 pieces that r 1/4" long

Don't fool yourself, there are some of those same types in the ray forum also.;) But I don't see how a few small pieces of worm would be unhealthy for an aro though.

I think you'll be fine. I've fed worms to some of the wild caught fish I've bought to try to get them off live food. Never an aro, but I'm sure it can't be bad.

Don't know if any1 cares anymore lol but she's now eating trout worms, night crawlers, and live ghost shrimp or dead but only if I kill them right before they go in the tank. No frozen foods. But my gf has been buggin me to let her try to hand feed. Reasoning y we got into these rays is becuz we love to go to aquariums and they have pools where u can hand feed. Anyways I said sure go ahead and try it. I had her cut a night crawler small, had her put her hand flat on the sand and wow she went right up on her fingers n took the worm!

Cool buddy thats great that shes eating all that and amazed that its handfeeding,so cool.
Id be a bit scared myself lol
