Nice!

It's cool to see the equipment shots. I have always wanted to do one of the power strips with the individul shut off switches. That would be very handy to have.

I notice your timer has one of those side plugs, total pain with all the adapters to make it work. I ended up just dedicating one power strip for lighting with all the oversized wall warts, timers. I also use a timer with the plug on the front.

When you set up the 240 take time to make things easier. I also installed lighting inside the stand to help me see when Im under there. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N2M5EDQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That's a very nice Weeksi! When that 240 going up
thanks man. I am aiming to fire up the 240 around Xmas time. The garage is such a mess that I can't even walk. LoL

you can get those power strips fairly cheap on Amazon now. I love that it is so convenience to flip the switch to turn off powerhead, UV, FX6, and inline heater.

I hate these ugly timers but it's all I could find 6 yrs ago. I got a better timer at target in the Xmas section. It allow two plugs instead of one. I'll let you know how it is after I test it.

The 240 should be a breeze since the previous owner sold me a turn key system. I prefer to take my time to make improvements. I am thinking of painting the inside of the 240 stand glossy white too. It's so much easier to see when it's glossy white inside.

Wow really nice, that huge lap is really impressive.
Clown loach like to hangout with the polys:D
all the laps are impressive. :-) one looks like a pbb and another has a Congicus head. clown loach love to hang with these bichirs but these guys will snap at him when they are in a bad mood. LoL

Your tank always has such a clean look, love it. Your weeksii is stunning with its patterns.

BTW your pics have influenced me, I picked up a small kelberi last week to swim with my bichirs .
thanks. I still like your weeksii better. LoL

You will love kelberis. Give it hikari bio gold plus to develop the spangles. The gold will glow once it hit 12".

What does the tile do for the tank?

Its a place to put the poly carpet ;)

The tile is a nice step up from a bare bottom tank. It is easy to clean yet the fish can feel comfortable on it. There is something about a bare tank and how weird the fish act not having a 'bottom' underneath them. Ive seen fish actually act like they were trying to swim down through the bottom of a bare tank. Needless to say stressful on the fish. Even in my QT tank I will put a thin layer of substrate so the fish are at ease.
