My characins are all coming along nicely! My goliath is growing like a WEED. He's now about 7.5-8 inches long and just cut new teeth! He's got all new teeth in with the exception of his left front bottom tooth, which is still coming in. His new chompers are looking
! You'll see in one of the pictures of the GATF, the flash hit him just right and really brought out his colors. He looks GOOD in that shot!
I also recently received a new Hydrolycus tatauaia. It was extremely skinny when I first got it, to the point that it was lethargic and had a hard time eating. After a couple weeks of very careful feeding, I think it's doing well and coming along OK. It's starting to put on mass and becoming very active! Coming along well methinks.
It's at about 6" right now. Haven't decided on the pronoun with which I will refer to this fish yet.
We also have my thick, old scomb. He's a stout, steady fish that reminds me of a bulldog. He's 7-7.5 inches long.
Finally my little PTC. She's about 4.5 inches long and mainly serves as a dither for the GATF. She does a good job of snatching up pieces of pellet that my tiger shreds. Pretty little fish that adds a lot of movement to the tank.
