Update on the Salvador

It is pretty clear when you see the isolated back spot on the current pictures, and they have the solid white lining around the black horizontal bar.
 
I found a few more photos of baby pinima. I think these may be Rio Tocantins though. I don't remember it's been so damn long. LOL

I also have pinimas that are going in there and their definetly not the same, maybe your right a "nice" pinima, only way to find out is when it gets bigger i guess....


The tail was always like that, either and old injury or it was born that way....thats the only reason why i kept him lol

Yeah They don't look like pinima. Ive had pinima caught from 3 different locations and none looked like this.. but all looked fairly similar at 8".. So im guessing you are gonna say these are pinima too just cause they dont look like a "regular" tems?

They're not pinima and they're NOT temensis... And DM's "temensis" were pinima, they (C. pinima) were just not described when d-mack had them.

If they are not pinima, then what do you suggest they are?

Sorry pal but you are WRONG... They are indeed cichla Temensis caught from the Rio Tapajos.. Nice try though :) have a nice day.
