They look like tems to me but I am no expert I can't see the extra bars that zullies get not even faintly.

As well as the spangling. The early age spangling like what we are seeing on this "azul" is scattered all over the fishes body. Temensis have spangling as a juvie but it is a lot more organized. Most of the spangling on a tem runs along its barred lateral line.
 
Not an expert by any means, but they look very much like Tems by my eye. They background colour looks too dark to compared to a lot of the azuls I've seen that have a light greyish background colour. But gangster gangster is the pro IDer around here so I guess well have to wait it out

I agree with you G. However, the blue on Azuls doesn't come in for a while and they are hard to tell apart at a young age so I can see where the confusion comes from. I've had a couple tems and a few Azuls and based on my own bass, I say Azul.
