Upgrading tank size advise.

Yes it's all resin for now. Will look into some real stuff for the bigger tank.

To me they appear to be direct knock offs of the Marineland C series canisters. I bet they're made in the same factory. Chinese factories do this sort of thing often.

I also have aquaclear 110s I run two of them on my 55. They're nice. The best filter you can use is a sump though. I would maybe look into getting a tank with an over flow and just run a DIY sump.

I think the price scares people away. It scared me away at first but they've been on the market for a couple years now and people seem to really like them.

Like I said, his bouncer move. He only does that when that big one is picking on the little one. That big EBJD was trying to swim past the angel to pick on the little EBJD that is not seen on video. The little one retreats to behind the black log when the bigger one is in a mood. Mellow plays defense for him. Only time he shows any aggression and never actually hurts anyone. More of a display.

Different story with my koi Angel. If I took of a video of him, you'd never see him just swimming. Always chasing the Acara or the smaller Firemouth. Sometimes he'll chase away bigger Angels.

Momma Angel says, "go to your room!"

I think a decent canister and an aqua clear would be a nice filtration upgrade just get a canister that is"rated" for a tank about twice the size of your new one since those ratings are a joke.
