uv sterilizer question

I think it's ok with the jewels, but the rest I think will wreck the plants...

The Eheim uv can be purchased at Amazon or something, I get them through my work, I work at a local petstore, and it's best job I can think of at my age, the job got me back to keeping fishes.

I'm actually considering the jewel cichlids for my tank, but still a bit unsure. I would love to have jag someday, but in a bigger and different tank setup. One of the most beautiful fishes IMO.

me too, which eheim uv will you be getting i may just buy one, jewels would look great in your tank, i think mines female, super bright blue almost looks like it has diamonds

I'm getting the Eheim reeflex 11w uv, rated for tanks up to 800 liters, which is 210 gallons
