I did have a wave maker. It wasn’t strong enough, but i had a fairly high flow, high oxygen set up that was catered around its needs. I would like to try again some day but for now I will just watch what others are doing.Did you have a current/ wave maker? They seem to park right in front of it most of the day when you have those. They eat a lot more as well. So you can see some nice growth
This 300 will be there home for a year or two then move to the a 800 gallon. I don’t think you can wait that long depending on what tiger fish you have and how many times a day you feed as well. My Goliath is 10 inch and I haven’t had him a full year yetOh wow... that looks awesome.. i Really want just One solo so I’m figuring out if I can keep it.. Fatf yes but others you will need bigger tank. I woul say for the more larger ones you will need 600-1500 gallon. Do know what kind you have? Post pictures I or a few others can help you Id. They say vittatus can reach 18”-24” inches. My tank is 72x36x27 being is a fast swimming fish it need more room turn and when it picks up speed it doesn’t hurt himself. Fatf reach around 10”-12” inches so a 180 it could live his whole life.So for just one ull need like 300 gallons Adult?
