It's hard to make purchases online after reading something like this^^. This is a ridiculous rule that should not be enforced. This is why everybody has to pay top dollar for their fish from the big name vendors. Favoritism much? Maybe I just don't understand..


Apparently, you don't understand. The OP and the seller each want to be taken at their word. This site has no way of knowing who is telling the absolute truth. Especially, on a transaction that occurred on another site. Hence, the reason that buy/sell debates are usually quashed from open forums. The accusation of favoritism being the fulcrum of this site's policies is no less than unfounded, disgusting, and at best, trolling in nature.
 
I think the main reason for the vendor not helping him out is the length of time it's been. If he contacted the vendor back sooner like maybe 3 or 4 months, which should have been enough time to tell, maybe that would have been different. 8 months is a long time.

Careful, I was infracted for WAY less than that statement.
 
This is a lose-lose situation.
Without pics we have no way of knowing that the OP didn't get rotkeils.
However, if the fish he received are not what was advertised by the seller and the seller refuses to rectify the situation then the general public has a right to know so they can avoid getting scammed.
Maybe concerned people on this site can have the OP PM them the name of the seller. I, for one, would like to know.

Absolutely not! If a vendor is not willing to come to some sort of a reasonable compromise nonetheless apologize for the inconvenience, then I would make this public and I would copy and paste the entire conversation on the forum so that there wont be anymore poor victims getting something they didnt order.

Its real easy to tell someone not to do this or that when your not the one who got jipped!

When it comes to "MONEY" its serious and it needs to be addressed. Obviously theres no consumers affairs report for MFK but the bottom line is if someone gets jipped then WE need to know about it! We are potential buyers and have a right to know whether or not there are scams occuring.
 
A friend of mine gave me a rotkeil i honestly didnt think that it was one at first.. i had no clue until she told me it was. Ive had it for about 5 months and i have another one ive had for less time. They're deff the same type of fish im assuming as all other fish they're all different and show there colors and grow at different rates but hey im no expert i just know what i have...

I guess this is in deffence of the seller who ever it is.

But if the vendor really isnt wrong in this situation then all of this wouldnt be fair at all. This person has no pics to back it up so we can say theyre right or not.

i bought baby monos that were sold to me as baby orinos,................

i just sucked it up and ain't doing bizniz with that person no more,.......... i didn't even confront the guy,...........
 
Thats exactly how i am..
Even if im in a resturant or something..
I get the wrong food or dont like it
I just wont go back.
No complaints.
But everyones different.

Accidents happen.. although we have no sure way of knowing this is the situation.
