vent shot confirmation inquiry

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Lol not sure what she would be called. All I know was she was one of the runts and ended up being an odd ball out of the whole batch. These 2 were their parents. The father was very aggressive, atleast to me he was, always drew blood anytime I had to clean the tank. The mother was ½fader.

Lol that's how I usually breed fish. I always make certain the female is smaller then the male is. Makes setting up escape spots easier.

she keeps going over to where he is so theirs hope.i know if just puts up some kinda fight will speed the process up

She got a place to escape him at? Also might help to do a couple of cold water changes while keeping the heat up to simulate spring/summer rains.

i was actually pretty upset to watch my female midevil go through what the male put her through, was hard to watch and know trying to remove her would only prolong the process,as she was starting to fight back after a few days of getting beat on.shes a trooper though cause when i bought her i remember she was very passive and just hid behind rocks at the store and i thought after venting her would be a challenge since i know how my boy was,hes a real thug with other fish

Lol definitely not like my male FH was then. He was very gentle to his lady but you stick your hand in the tank and you weren't walking away without feeling his teeth in your knuckles. Lol he was bad enough I had to either use a chainmail glove or a barrier to keep him from bitting me.

shes kinda aggressive so im more worried she'd hurt him if it came to that.especially once she figures out he wont actually do anything..red devils are pretty smart.my pair tries to formulate a strat to kill the convict fry targets in their tank.they always fail since hes pretty fast but one will be on one side to flush him out while the other is on the opposite end lol neat to watch..they also shake their heads at me if they see me get a net even for another tank since ive used that plenty of times to take their fry out from them

my male midevil is a foot long and has to be restrained during cleanings
