Verizon'a Iphone 4 or Droid?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just went by the Verizon store earlier. I played around with all the new phones up there. Gotta say, I really really liked the iPhone 4. Also really liked the Droid Incredible, its a great phone. Droid X was nice, just a little too big and heavy for my taste, otherwise a great phone.

I'll be getting a new phone in the next couple of months, and its gonna be a hard choice. I'm not a real big Apple fan (I do own an iPod and use iTunes as my main music listening at home), but I think I may end up going for the iPhone 4, if the plan isn't too ridiculously expensive...

i also heard verizons service is getting a huge upgrade pretty soon that will blow everyone out of the water...

can anyone confirm?

They're going to have to upgrade with everyone picking up the iPhone 4, Droid x, etc. The data level is climbing pretty fast. They don't want to end up like AT&T and end up with horrible service for their great phones...

With a droid you don't need tap a talk or surfari to get online.
What the heck are you talking about? Have you ever used any smartphone? :screwy:

I have had the original iPhone, iPhone 3GS and now the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 has been horrible so far. Everytime I call someone I get disconnected at least 3 times in a single phone call. I need to bring it in to apple to have them check it out but I'm pretty sick of it. If it keeps happening and apple can't do anything about it I might have to switch soon.

Isn't that the whole death grip thing? Do you have a case on it?

Yes I have a case. I was just on an important phone call sitting in my living room and got disconnected. There have been times where you need to go through 10 different options before you finally get someone on the line.... Then the call drops. I have always been an iPhone lover but it's starting to be hard to defend them these days. We called apple last week and the girl said to make sure I had the latest firmware which was 4.2 and it should make a difference. Downloaded it and same thing.... Now my phone makes a zoom everytime a text is sent and there is NO option to turn it off. My phone sounds like NASCAR. Looked it up and Alot of people are not happy about it
