Ive not got room for enough dats for them not to fight,i could get 3 but think that would cause aggro and as you can see in my avatar and signature ive got an rtg and he WILL NOT eat pellets,he wont even eat his favourite food that has been fed on pellets!! so thats out of the question,il just keep offering pellets until he gives in.

you can go 3-4 weeks without worrying about it dying. id suggest a couple of feeders after 3 weeks if it doesnt give in. you might have to do this a couple times. a lot of people have success the first time

Starve either 2 ways:
1) Don't feed his fav feeders/live etc. Just keepo feeding pellats and prawn/frozen etc. then during this period, ONCE per week only, add in some live/feeder with the frozen. This way, he won't starve to death(which has hapened in recent posts). Keep doing this for as long as it takes.

2) Or just starve completely, i.e do as above but don't add feeders, and hope he'll go for frozen .

Seeing as your 10 days into starving, I would wait another 10 days, before adding a feeder, but keep chucking prawn and pellets etc.

i was told that sinking carnivore and food sticks/ aro sticks are the easiest to get them used to.

Im trying to get mine to eat pellets,but if he eats prawns i would be happy too,but he wont eat that either.
Im currently trying him on the sinking carnivore pellets and hikari aro food sticks and cichlid gold.
I think we should both be aware of what has happened to balton777s dat in his thread and perhaps give them a little of what they like while we try to convert them.
