I'D LIKE TO REPORT SOME SUCCESS! He eats them now, BUT ONLY FROM MY HAND. HE WON'T TOUCH THEM ANY OTHER WAY, BUT ITS A START. This is on Cichlid excel and gold.

Does he come to the surface to eat them or you put a handfull in front of him wherever he is in the tank?
Were you already feeding him other stuff by hand or is this completely out of the blue?

I started feeding him the freeze dried kill by hand out of the blue and I just thought why not try to feed these pellets like that. He ate 3-4, tonight though he didn't wanna try. He comes to the surface.

I guess if they are in my hand he thinks they are live prey.

I tried with mine last night but he swam halfway up the tank,looked at me then darted off and hid!
Il keep trying though.

Hows yours doing now,is he taking them all the time now?
Mine is looking more interested in them but hes not had any yet,but he just ate some prawn so im making progress.
