Its deffenetly a clown.... but i think there is a difference between candy stripe and a clown.... clowns are common while candy stripes are more expensive and not as common.

Looks somewhat like the clown I picked up a few months ago.Pretty nice for a free fish,I think I paid $8 for mine

I just read up on him and read that he needs wood.. i wonder how long i have had him and how long he can go with out the driftwood.. so thats going into the tank tonight..:D
 
cool find. I just found my clown pleco in the 120 yesterday during maintenance. Thought he got eaten, but once he was out in the open my jag started chasing him, so now the clown has been transferred to the 75 w/ the other small plecos.
 
He must be a baby or a stowaway, You say that you have a common pleco but how could she deliver him, something very strange is going on. He must be a stowaway. Neat story, I wish I could wake up and find 2, 20 inch Trout cichlids in my tank but it never happens. :nilly: :popcorn: ;)

How big is your clown.. did you give him some driftwood.. did he actually eat it.. i will try hard to get a good pic of him tonight..glad yours was okay:D

I think he slipped in on some plants a while back..that is the only thing i can think of..when i first set up the front tank i remenber buying a whole bunch of plants from the lfs that were in the tank with alot of fish.. he must have come with those plants:grinno: :grinno: I know sweet dreams haha
