I surprisingly got bored of Fallout 4 really quickly, although not sure what is was that turned me off it but for some reason really couldn't get into like other open world games...
Lately however i've been playing NIOH, which i have to say is pretty good game if you are up for a challenge (Dark Souls style) but with more in depth battle mechanics and set in Japan during the samurai era...
Had you played any of the other fallouts? 3 or NV? I liked both, but if you dont like one, you wouldnt like the others.
Ive never heard of NIOH, ill have to check out some videos of it later after work, but the screenshots looked neat. I've never played dark souls, but I know of its legendary difficulty. if its anywhere as difficult as they make dark souls out to be, chances are id get frustrated and probably not enjoy it as much as id like. But seeing its brand new....I wont be getting it, not until its come down in price alot.
Yeah, Nioh definitely is legendary in its diffuclty, and most likely not for most causal players, i was extremely frustrated with it as well, but now is becoming enjoyable now that i know how to fight...
But yeah, I've played other Fallout games, and other open world games, but for some reason the new fallout felt very shallow to me for some reason... not sure why though...
I wouldnt say im a casual gamer, but I don't enjoy dying over and over and over in the same spots. lol
So far Ive found that I love open world games. I do enjoy linear games, but the single player experience tends to be pretty short, and I don't pay to play online.
Yeah the fallout games can be like that. I finished fallout 3 but got bored of New Vegas. I just picked up Fallout 4 but am currently playing Dishonored 2.
The Dishonored series is amazing btw. The first one is one of my favorites. The second is great so far, but not as good as the first IMO.
Most importantly, Mass Effect Andromeda comes out in about a month! Probably my favorite series, along with Dragon Age. BioWare kicks ass
I only played a little of the first dishonored. I don't remember why I stopped, but I never went back to it. Also never played any of the mass effects or dragon age.

I played the previous elder scrolls Skryim, but not elder scrolls online...
If the next one is offline, then might get into it...
Yeah, i hear what you're saying, but luckily this games fighting system is kind of interesting so makes it worth the time at least imo...
Plus the story is about 40hr of play depending how good you are...
yeah no online for me. Offline only.
Even thats not bad, not nearly as long as skyrim or similar though. I like the CoD, battlefield series, but single player is done in like 10 hours, or a few days of casual gaming.
I think the last old timey asian swords game I played and enjoyed was the early Dynasty warriors games back on PS1. Looks like #8 is on ps4, so I may look into that. i'll look into NIOH a bit, and we'll see, maybe ill pick it up when prices come down
