I should have mentioned that they are calm but I never fully trust them..

I would have to say its the Con that gets picked on the most ... But he himself defends himself.. I know my stock isn't perfect but I don't have any other room

I know the feeling with aggressive fish lol all of mine are tough enough to take care of themself it seems but it is hard to trust them. It takes a little trial and error to find a good balance

They did lay again, but they got eaten again.... They've remained calm and not in spawning mode for about a month or so...

I got them from a lfs here in San Antonio.. they were labeled as Synspilum.. I picked those fish not knowing they were M and F... And I think they were way to small to even give it a good guess at the time..

I just saw this post. Great looking fish. When I first saw the video I was that pictus cat come into the frame and was going to type...get that out of there. Catfish are notorious egg eaters. Either that or the pair feel threatened and will eat their own eggs.
