Yes they are Surinamensis. Ive had many of them over the years.. I love these guys.. They start to look very nice around 6-7inches!

G. surinamensis is rare in the hobby mainly due to just about no exporting from the collection location. That doesn't mean they aren't in the hobby, just possibly misidentified or sold as just "geos". Any way we split it, we'll have to wait a while to get an exact ID for these pics.

My guess would be Altifrons.
99 percent of Geos that are labeled "surinamensis" are not at all. True suris are indeed quite difficult to come by.

I don't think they are surinamensis. I have been looking for true surinamensis for awhile as well. Anyway, they are good looking geos, so, enjoy them.
