waht exotics have you caught/found/seen?

I caught these today in canal across street from supermarket while my wife went food shopping as thought this thread should have some pics lol

first is Mayan the second I have no idea

This is old pic of canal I used to go to with red dull colored oscars they never hit the bait and no one fishes that time wasting canal .

In certain rivers and sreeks, we have a few cichlids, including Texas cichlid, but they're just barely exotic for central texas. Also, the San Marcos river has it all, plecos, exotic snails, a guy I know even says he found a couple loaches.

I haven't caught any exotics besides the usual common carp and goldfish, but a friend of mine caught a piranha in the Cumberland.

Oh how nice I have seen school of tiger barbs and zebra danios but never neons.

I would think Neons would do the best as far as surviving goes as they move fast are tiny and dark water canals would be paradise for them. would love to see them.

Did you see them in canal or lake?

Saw them in a private pond.

I know but they are still cool to see since I live up North where there are none.
