Real nice. I have heard they are found by Okochobee .

I have been there but never saw anything as neat as that but have seen loads of tropical fish types sold in pet stores

I wonder if you have convicts but just having seen them. There are convicts .

I havent caught any but have seen them in the oscar canal in shallow rocky areas guarding eggs .

I imagine the jewels are the red ones or do you have greens also?

I once caught a muskie out of Gull Lake but they are not native to that lake, nor DNR dont stocked these muskies in Gull Lake. My guess, it was probably accidently mixed with the hatchery walleye fry they stocked in the Gull lake. It is not uncommon for a hatchery raised different species of gamefish in same pond. There are plently of odd fish show up in few lakes they are not native to. Green sunfish, bullheads, carp and other pest species do share the same pond where the hatchery fish was raised into, then the Fisheries come and netted the hatchery fish along with few greens, bullheads and other cominanted fish to stock them into other lake and that is how they spread these "non native" natives in the areas.
