I used to do that with a 6' pole. Id sit on the couch, watch tv, drink beer and fish with hookless flys. Best thing is, no fishing license!

I'd be horrified if someone started doing this to my lovelies! They are pets! Not sports! I'm not going to start hunting my cats....Why would I hunt my fish?

All attachment aside, I think it would be fun to do....but not with someone's pets....

The people who did this should be locked in a glass room with their hands tied and fed nothing but food items with sharp metal objects imbedded in them. Put these guys on the razorblade apple diet. They're barbless!

I think we see eye-to-eye on this sir! lol

Well without hooks it's ok, but who would want to hurt their fish by sticking a hook in their mouths?

Id do it but my rbp would kill whatever one I hook....

At least you can admit the "attachment" issue... Doesn't seem like many people realize the only difference between the "pets in our home" and "wild animals we hunt/fish" is the value we subjectively place on them because we "care" about our pet, but "don't care" about wild animals. Anyone who fishes puts wild animals through the same amount of pain as their pets would experience...

That's the point I've been trying to make. But they say it's not the same because of the 'challenge' aspect :nilly:

right, cause the "wild fish" deserve to get hooked cause its more challenging to hook them...? :screwy:

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-fishing; just anti-BS
