Maybe its just me but I've spent over 100 hours trying to catch a fish at 10 different reservoirs NOTHING.

That's the point I've been trying to make. But they say it's not the same because of the 'challenge' aspect

i think its pretty messed up ive put soft baits with no hook in my native to see what they would hit and wouldnt pretty cool but not catching them but i gotta say they put some time into those little rods
Wow its a cool idea. I admit I laughed. To the fact that they were fishing in such a small tank. I feel like certain tanks that are large enough are too large to net the fish out if u were to need to catch it. Such as a 5000 gallon tank. I am surprised this method isn't used in larger tanks. I couldn't picture people doing this without hooks. if there were a hook free method of this I'd be catching slammers all day every day. Lol.

I have been thinking for a while now of setting up a 1000+ gallon tank in the future and putting in all natives and trying hook free different baits to see and learn methods of native fish to enhance your fishing experience. Companies probably have experimented this in ponds. I wouldn't doubt it. Private ponds on lure company properties to test products

years ago i had a big pool as a native pond full of catfish and bass sat there for hours fishing with barbless hooks catching them all the time
I'd love to try something like that. Lol seems terrible but the fish are rarely harmed from it. How big was the pond?
