Seems to me you have some reading to do. If you had actually read the thread, you would see that I know that heating the moat/pond would be very difficult and decided that if I did do this I would only keep them in it during the spring/summer so that heating would not be so much of a problem. I have also considered, if going through with this, changing my stock to a hardier fish other than piranha. I own three Red Bellies that are healthy, happy, and I take excellent care of them. So you should perhaps read a thread before posting and looking like a total smug douche bag.cepon3;4049490; said:Seems to. Me you have some growing up to do.. if you knew anything about piranhas and or aquarium and pond systems you would have realized that this scenario is really unlikely.. like stated the bill of runnning a system of such specifications would be tremendous, not only with heating but with filtration aswell

Nah, my cat has had tussels with raccoons before and walked away the victor.all_or_nothin;4054176; said:That two different things. A raccoon has to fight for a living and a cat doesnt so the racoon would win with no problem.
i also like the idea of bringing them in, in the winter. but i think that pacu would be a better choice. if your looking for a wow affect go with pacus because regular ppl wont kno the difference.![]()

Are you aware you committed a crime? You're lucky DNR did not find out.
This is why me and all my hunting buddies hate cats. Feral and stray cats cause sooooo much damage to ecosystems. Fair game when they're in the woods.
They call them house cats for a reason.
