Want to see a MONSTER TANK on MYTH BUSTERS?

I work in a metal shop and have installed many railings etc in nice apartments...MANY of which had double doors...by FAR larger than 4'
remember this is a myth people...the actual size of exactly 1000 gallons is unlikely (most people could mistake anywhere from 400 to 2000 gallons as 1000.) but that doesnt mean it didnt happen.
Regardless of whether you agree or disagree it would make a great myth to test.
in testing this myth im sure the amount of gallons per square inch that caused a failure would be revealed.
and one last thing...the phrase "underneath 4 floors of destruction" applies to a man laying underneath a gaping hole that carries through 4 floors above him...not a pile of debris

So is this tank made out of glass? If not then there's no way the tank would shatter into thousands of pieces. If it's made out of glass then the weight of the tank alone would be enough to deter anyone from even thinking of moving it and placing it on the 4th floor. And there's way too many variable that would come into play in determining how much weight a floor can handle. The floor plan, the building materials, the placement of the tank, etc. would all come into play. Also I highly doubt the tank would go through all the floors since if it did fall through one floor it would immediately fail after that and the water would spill out away from the center thus not having enough force to break through the next floor. There's just way too many holes in this "story" to make it even plausible or worth testing.
the variables do not matter. all they have to do is see if in IDEAL situations if its possible...that means the weakest floors, the strongest tank construction, etc etc

Of course it's possible but not within what the myth says. You don't even need to have an aquarium filled with water. All you need is a few tons of weight and wait till the floor fails. But what's the point of busting the myth if you're not going to follow what the myth says?
All that everyone has said doesn't even matter. A huge fish tank shatering would look good on promos for the show so there is a good chance that mythbusters will take it. The actual myth doesn't even matter.
I have a new twist to the myth... say a tank just at the breaking point of the floor that has fish is fine, until all the fish are in the same area of the tank (say 50lbs of fish all together) at the very moment all the fish are grouped together the floor fails...

myth busted on that one lol idk i know it would get tested but think of it it would be hard to get all 50 lbs of fish in the corner to see if they affect the weight distrabution it would end up being 50 lbs of dead fish lol
this isn't based on sadi myth in the opening post BUT i think this might be a better suited topic for a myth why not a giant glass aquarium being used as a bullet protection system
we allready know from pryor myths that a bullets will only go X distance into water but what if u add the thinkness of glass and the pressure of water to deflect a bullet
(crapy example: a corporate big wig having fired an employee goes home to find a very disgruntled ex-employee at his house not knowing what the man wanted the big wig talks very clam to him and asks him what he is there for after a lilbit of smalltalk the man gets increasingly angree and pulls a gun out from his jacket and aims at the big wig who happens to be standing in another room thats common wall is a 300+ gal 1" think glass aquarium the man thinks that he can shot the bigwig though the aquarium thinking its only glass i can shot him and run he won't see it comming when the man shots he shatters the front pane of glass goes through the water but the bullet does not have the enrgy to make it past the back pane the disgruntled employee runs off thinking he had killed his ex-boss only to find the police at his door when he gets home b/c the bullet could not pennatrate the think glass and water and the big wig calls the polic telling his what happened and turns the guy in)
not only is this pluasable but we get to see a big glass aquarium get shot (comme on ppl guns) but we get to see that owning a giant aquarium could save your life ( what better reasoning to give oyour wives or G/Fs to get a huge tank:"come on hunny it could save your life someday")
i think this is a better idea b/c the tank is in a local that is very doable nothing stupid about tank placment, big time business men have these large aquariums in there homes allready (so do us blue collar ppl) and getting a peeved ex-worker has happend
