Want to start a small reptile setup any suggestions?

Well I also had 10 tanks, 2 turtles, and my leo pair, and I wasn't doing as well in school as I thought I should be, so I shut down some tanks, started concentrating more on school and gave the leos to someone who would spend the time with them they deserved...dzb912;2417767; said:

leos are like cats- eat little amounts of crickets, more active at night and are adapted to doing things in the dark, and dont like to be handled as much and are alot smaller

That's actually a decent analogy. I like both cats and dogs (got 2 and 1 respectively). Neither of my leos minded handling at all. I handled both quite a bit. They also ate a lot. Mine got fed 4-5 times a week (normally crickets and mealies-waxworms every couple weeks, especially for the female) and once a month the female got a pinkie (and maybe one every 2-3 months for the male) My beardie for some reason is still a little skittish. Now that he's getting some size on him, I'm going to try to start handling him more often and taming him down a little
well thanks a lot everyone thats a lot of information to get me started. sad thing is i prolly wont be able to get my tank till christmas though....but i will prolly get a 30g and a pair of leos to start with and with all the information everyone gave i seems like i should be fine. thanks again for all the help.
