Ok well ive had the light off for awhile to give them privacy while they were digging the ditch I found some stuff that I don't know are eggs or what it is. Algea maybe lol but they sweept the whole side with there log is where they dug a ditch.. I looked and saw some orange things.. Almost larvae looking in the sand.. And alot of little oblong black things... In the pictures it's hard to tell... And then I found something inside there log and it has like slime on it with the black things in it.. Also on the other side they moved all this brown grouping stuff over by the flower pot.. I thought it was algea when I saw and my bf thinks it's algea.... Idk it's all grouped together... Here's all the pics.. Hopefully it's what I want to hear lol

Sorry those aren't eggs imo. Eggs at least viable ones should be cream color.

Thanks I guess it wasn't after all.. Idk what it was. But they acted like they were laying eggs which was the weird part..

They may have laid them and then eaten them within hours. Breeding isn't a simple thing with fish, often they need to try it a few times before getting it right.
