You don't get to have an opinion anymore. The answer is in fundamental WWII history.

And even that achievement was not fully accomplished without the help of Russia...

If you want to call skirmishes wars, the US did manage to take out Grenada and Panama directly pretty much on their own... so there are two decisive wins....Sort of...

it is, in fact, sad, but true. beyond that, nothing but blunders...

You know, as bad as you guys talk about it, you would think the U.S. is some 3rd world country.

why? because it isn't the top army in the world( weaponry excepted ) ?

It just seems like bashing the U.S. is the common fad now-a-days, and frankly it's one that has worn out it's welcome for me.

You have a point there ( although it has nothing to do with this thread, nor was anyone in here bashing the US), but I am sure that fad will tend to diminish come November...

For starters it's kind of like these comments, and if I went through the rest of this thread I could find a lot more. You know I can understand that some people dont really care for President Bush, but it's amazing how people want to talk about how our country "isn't what it once was" (Obama quote) or that we've lost credibility, but yet take no responsibilty for themselves as citizens, and how their words lead other countries views of us. If you make a habit of bashing a person or an ideal long enough, people start to notice, and when people here (US) and the media here (US) do it to our own country, people notice.

I'll agree that the bashing may not be what this thread is about, but notice how often negative remarks are made about the US (and it's President) in a thread that isn't even about US politics.

I don't mean you specifically, so I hope it doesn't seem that way, these are just a bystanders observations.

You should go through the thread before staring to make unfounded assertions.
By blunder I mean, in the context of the discussion, only the results of the US Army.
