i had the o's in another tank for awhile and they were not looking so good and i forgot to plug in the heater for a night in a cold basement so pinpointing the problem is an issue.

tank wasn't to blame purchased sick fish.

ok well if anyone cares tank is as done as is going to be. Finished 30 gallon sump tonight exactly the same as the rubbrmaid only a 30 gallon aquarium.

stand was rebuilt.....again to fit aqaurium.
