what are the chances that Kai will develop some kind of small hump on his forehead?

I think you’d have to add a female or some other cichlid for him to establish dominance over.
It’s the main reason I don’t want to separate my pair. I’d hate for him to lose his hump.

He is very very aggressive. I wouldn't put another cichlid in there even in a massive tank.

I guess I will have to wait and see as he ages . Maybe I will get lucky.
