They are giant danios!
Since the dorsal fins are so different between the danios and rainbows, these guys clearly have the danio fins.

Really rough guess is about 40. The first batch has out grown the second batch a good amount so I think they have eaten most of their younger siblings.

A couple pictures of the little guys.

I did a count this time and I have 47 of them. The bigger ones are 1”.
They just got moved into the 40g with my turtle Leo. I tried to be more careful this time around while moving them. Last time I managed to kill 3 because the water was too saturated with gases.
