i do stuff all water changes cause of water restrictions, so i do 80% monthly...sounds bad but all my fish are fighting fit and are happy as...bare in mind i'm running a fx5 with powerheads in a 180 with feeding every 2nd day..so yeh no excess food or waste..

me too.. water changes are done every Sun or Sat morning. 25%-30% depends of the water quality. Check you water parameters.
It is better to have good water than... and sick arowana.
