What is your water change routine and how do you maintain your filters? Also how large is your aquarium and what is your stock?

30 - 50% Water change once a week , filter cleanings once a month ... cleaned last weekend . It is a 30 gallon aquarium with 1 Serrasalmus Macculatus piranha .

Not sure sounds like your on the right track. Purigen should've help out a lot. Just added some purigen to my 220.

Looks awesome, that' what I want my water to look like , I've done plenty of research but nothings working don' knw what to do lol

What do you do with the bio media when you clean your filters? Do you use a dechlorinator such as prime during wc's?

I wish around the bio media in tank water , while I clean my filters and set it all up again after I'm done and no I do not use prime with water changes
