ya thats what I thought, any smaller active puffers, but not to small or i will be lunch

Why would you be lunch??
Jokes aside...I have seen some brown, rough-skinned (their skin resebembles a toad's slightly) puffers with red eyes...name unknown. They look THE BOMB.

Now, I just need the name lol.

i wouldn't go puffers. the water cows are hogs and smaller puffers wouldn't last long, pig-nose may work but they'd have to share the same territory on the bottom. they have pretty big mouths and will surprise you with what they can eat. and i think you may need to think bigger than a 55 because remember your cow isn't done growing. that being said they love worms of any kind, and will eventually take pellets that fall near them. good luck they're cool but lazy fish

Ya I know I will have to get rid of him eventually, but not for a while. They are lazy, get more active at night though.

I wouldn't feel comfortable putting anything in the tank with the water cow. It will either be eaten or beat on the water cow.

yup eleotris picta

If you're lucky orange chromides might work...or just get like three dozen white clouds and see what survives...or an african butterflyfish or an archer fish...
