water softener salt vs aquarium salt thread

just to clarify, no one is using this kind of salt for saltwater or brackish tanks right? this is more used as aquarium salt in a preventative medicine sort of thing?

the reason for adding salt is to help with slime coat and gill health (helps them breath), and takes away stress
