Waterchange volume

another factor is your filtration system. if you have a kick ass filter with tons of bio media, you can go longer without a wc

^^^if thats the case it would change 100% in 4 days. Did you get any juvi IT in the last couple weeks?

NOT all of the 60 gallons that are added in 24 hours replaces the old tank water.

I am adding 4 gallons of water per hour for 15 hours day. As water being added, the excess are being pump out.

Unlike regular water changes where you remove 50 gallon of "old" water and replace 50 gallon of "new" water, drip system slowly add in new water to the tank. All changes (Ph, alkalinity, temp, and etc ) happens gradually. Based on the turnover rate, drip volume adn total volume, at 60 gallons per day, I am "replacing" 75% of the water weekly.

My thread on drip system, at this time, I was only dripping about 50 gallons per day, I added a little bit more since.

I do 30% per week. I recommend to all my customers the same for all but excessively overstocked tanks, so long as they have good filtrations and know what they are doing.
