No free swimming will probably take about 2-4 days. They don't mature that fast lol. I hope most of them become free swimming.

Yupp I am supprised everything is going so smoothly. Both Parents are participating in caring for the fry more so the male. The have moved all the wrigglers to a pit behind the rock so now it just looks like little pink grass wiggling. Plus I can see their horizontal markings along their body. It's amazing how fast they can mature. Everything is perfect though.

Congrats and nice parents. My boyfriend and I have a pair of FL WC Jags that have been breeding for us. We are still growing out the fry, the male was 4 inches and the female was about 3-3 1/2 inches when they started breeding. How big are yours?

Female is about 9" and the male maybe 7.5-8". Shes got some weight on him though. I think he likes the bigger girls anyway LOL.
