Who here has been to an actual slaughterhouse to see them butcher your normal domestic farm animals like cattle and pigs? They don't humanely inject every animal and put them gently to "sleep" before butchering them. It's .22 caliber to the head, drain the blood, and divide them into cuts of meat. You'd hope they're brain damaged enough not to feel everything, but they're definitely not out instantly. I don't think this is how it should be, but that's how it goes.
But I think we both agree were the biggest sufering is

This is exactly how our food is slaughtered, so no shock here. whats inhumane is what michael vick did, this is sad but a part of life, i agree it sucks but if we can't change the meat industry why get angry at something like this?
Im not angry at the meat industry(even if I think factory farms should stop both because of people and animals) Is to much asking that turtles dont be eaten out of existence?Footballref50;2392874; said:

I often say to my family and friends:"its good that we dont live on China!" Why? Because if we did I would porpously roam the markets and buy many of the endangered animals ofered in there. Would try to save them from the horrible injurys many have like fish hooks on the mouth or their gut full of sand to make them weigth more so that they can be selled for more, and with the sucsssefull rescues I would set breeding groups for the futureMiguel;2394381; said:

i could not bring myself to look at that site.. i wish i could because it is bad to be in denial... but i have seen enough here and in many other articles through out my life at the injustice and inhumane way we treat other living things.. lets face it even some humans... but each and every time you save one or voice your feelings and believe in what you do... you are making a difference in some animals life.. it does not matter what animals we choose over the other ... all of them need someone looking out for their welfare.. all of them deserve this.. and i appreciate knowing you.... and i am thank ful for hearts like yours..
