You are on the parrot board correct?

Have you ever seen a true BP/BP spawn that was viable?

Only known of 1 confirmed bpxbp spawn. Of course we get the genuine people who get confused with the whole Jellybean thing and of course the numpties that swear theyve done it too, but then cant prove it and disappear into the night.

im really starting to get p*** off at you people who think they know everything and judge you when you try to help some with there fish..... i dont buy from petsmart and your assuming that i bought it.... the yellow is a jelly bean parrot. crossed with a BLACK convict......... im pretty sure i know what goes on in my tanks!!!!!!!! how long have you made parrots and kept them?......

How long has who? Me? Dasarab? Reverse?......The yellow one is a petsmart parrot and NOT a jelly bean. LMAO!

Dasarab.......... AND AHHHHHH i made the yellow parrot... his mom was a petsmart parrot the was half white and half yellow

We really didn't mean to cause a riot, really. We just have a Bp of some sorts and a kkp of some sorts that had babies.Hows that sound better. We are not looking for props of breeding a "class 5 fish" or expecting a trophy. We were curious how soon we could take the babies away from the parents???

Oh yes another question. What is the best way to remove the babies from the tank??Can we also take babies from our chocolate cichlids and put them together??

I would not mix fry, and I use a bucket and airline tubing. Like the stuff hooked up to your air pumps, just twice the diameter. You can get it at Ace or Lowes. Just start a siphon into the buck and go around and easily suck up the babies by the dozens. Leave the fry tank about 1 bucket too low, and pour the babies in. Repeat with all separate batches. Do you have sponge filters on hand?

Yes we have two tanks with sponge filters for babies one is a 20 long the other is a 29.Can we take them out now???They are in an over crowed tank and are raising hell.

Are they free swimming? Are the sponges running on established tanks now?

Ps Sorry for being rude, I am just a parrot enthusiast and a successful bpxbp breed is front page news in my book.

yes the sponges were from the tank they are in now and have been set up for a month. They are free swimming.Should i take a good amount of the water they are in now and put it in there new tank or will all new water be ok??
